Marriott International pinpointed an initiative to create a mobile solution to minimize the check-in process, thus allowing guests to use their mobile device in order to gain entry to their room, built into the existing Marriott Guest Services App.
Lazarus Software, Corp. produced a solution that was not only mobile, but scaled with the demand on-property. For the first time, a guest will be able to check in with the app before arrival, then simply hold their phone up to the Key-Printer with their Bluetooth-enabled mobile device, print their room key and thereby skip the entire front desk process. This initiative also allows guests to request amenities, receive context-aware offers, and check out.
Lazarus delivered a platform and mobile application that allowed Marriott to not only realize their strategy, but also provided analytics and metrics that displayed the adoption of the various phases. Lazarus produced lessons learned when scaling the solution to Marriott’s 3000+ properties.
